Description:
The Public Opinions and Social Trends, Great Britain dataset presents regular findings from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OPN). It tracks changes in public attitudes, behaviours, and experiences on current social issues such as cost of living, well-being, health, and public services.
The survey covers adults aged 16 and over living in private households across Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales). Data are collected mainly through online self-completion questionnaires, with some responses gathered by telephone. The results provide timely insights to inform government policy, social research, and public understanding of trends in everyday life.
