Purpose:
The purpose of this database is to monitor how the NHS contributes to the
release of publicly owned land (for example, for housing or other public uses)
and to support efficient and strategic use of the NHS estate.
Collection Situation:
Trusts and NHS Property Services are responsible for updating the data for their
own sites. The data are broken down by NHS organisational units, including
Ambulance Trusts, Hospital Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, Care Trusts, NHS
Trusts, and by NHS regions.
